About Me

I’m a designer, developer, and problem-solver passionate about merging creativity with technology. As the founder of Aurion, I help businesses and individuals bring their digital ideas to life through web design, custom software, and AI-driven solutions. My work focuses on functionality, clean aesthetics, and user-centered experiences that make technology feel natural and empowering.

Every project I take on starts with understanding, the brand, the goals, and the people behind it. I believe design is more than visuals; it’s about creating seamless systems that tell a story, improve efficiency, and spark engagement. Whether I’m building a responsive website, developing automation tools, or refining a user interface, my goal is always to craft something purposeful and lasting.

Aurion was born from a desire to blend engineering precision with creative design. My background in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria taught me how to approach challenges analytically, while my passion for digital innovation taught me to think beyond boundaries. Together, these perspectives allow me to build solutions that are both technically sound and visually compelling.

Outside of client work, I’m constantly learning and experimenting with new technologies, from AI integration and UX design principles to digital storytelling. For me, growth is a continuous journey, and every new challenge is an opportunity to create something meaningful.

Work & Education

I founded Aurion to bridge creativity and technology through intelligent digital solutions. At Aurion, I lead the design and development of websites, custom software, and AI-driven systems that help brands operate more efficiently and stand out online. My work involves managing projects from concept to deployment, combining strategic design with technical precision to deliver products that are visually striking, user-friendly, and performance-driven.

I served as both Chairperson and Treasurer of the Aerospace Society, overseeing operations, events, and strategic partnerships. I managed financial planning, coordinated collaborations with industry partners, and helped organize events. These experiences strengthened my leadership, communication, and project management skills within a technical and creative environment.

At Delta BEC, I gained hands-on exposure to the engineering design process, assisting with layouts, technical documentation, and system analysis. Working alongside experienced engineers, I learned how design, precision, and collaboration contribute to delivering practical and efficient solutions. This experience deepened my appreciation for engineering principles.

Throughout my degree, I’ve developed a strong foundation in problem-solving, systems thinking, and design principles. My studies have deepened my understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials, while also inspiring me to explore how engineering concepts intersect with software, automation, and digital systems. This blend of analytical and creative skills shapes the way I approach every project at Aurion.

This course expanded my understanding of user experience and human-centered design. I learned how to conduct user research, design intuitive interfaces, and apply usability testing to improve digital products. It strengthened my ability to merge technical development with thoughtful, user-first design, a philosophy I now integrate into all Aurion projects.

Through this program, I gained essential web development skills, including HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles. It marked the start of my journey into building digital experiences, teaching me how to translate ideas into functional, visually appealing interfaces, the core of what would later become Aurion’s design philosophy.
